Janine founded Catalyst Search in 2009 based on a vision of what a partner search firm should be. Her breath of experience in financial recruitment, starting in 1996, led her to believe that a firm who's central premise was relationships could straddle the divide between research and immediate results.

She focuses her time on relationship development with clients and candidates alike, utilizing her extensive networks to build better teams. Her commitment to investing the time to understand people and environments has resulted in a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable search providers in the Calgary market.

Throughout her career Janine has worked on searches from Executive level to staff accountants, while providing a level of service that is truly exceptional. She has been responsible for hundreds of successful placements and looks forward to many more. She finds nothing more satisfying than seeing people and organizations she has matched achieve results beyond the expected.

Cathy joined Catalyst Search in 2009 after being attracted by the firm's entrepreneurial spirit and relationship focus.

She joins us  after a 15 year career in administrative services and public accounting in addition to extensive involvement in the management of a youth sports association.

She focuses her time on working with candidates to understand their values, needs and career objectives. Her enthusiasm and genuine interest in the people she works with ensure that she is able to provide advice and counsel with an eye to building strong teams.

In her spare time, Cathy partners with her husband to raise their two young children and keeps current with accounting standards by consulting part-time.
